Niswarth Kadam team visited to an old age home in Kathua District of Jammu and Kashmir.
The team of Niswarth Kadam visited, an old age home located in Kathua District of Jammu on February 2022. With which we are connected from past 3 years and have been serving them already as per their needs and requirement.
While visiting the center we found that in total there were 28 men and women who were staying in this old age home. This old age home was established in 1993 with the tiredless effort of Late Sh Hardev Gupta ji. which is running under the trust named “Home for the Aged and Infirm”
The purpose behind this visit was to help the Senior citizens in all the possible ways. Niswarth Kadam team got an opportunity to have a face to face talk with the residents of the home who hailed from different parts of the India and were from diverse backgrounds.Their boarding and lodging are being managed by the trust with the support of people.Trust is able to manage the food and other necessary items for the old age people but the main problem which they are experiencing is to manage the medical services.
The Founder President of Niswarth Kadam’s Sh Pramod Raghav ji had already sent aid material for the people living in the old age home Kathua and assured that to extend all possible help to the people.
